Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Alice Potock Spondike, 86, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Frank Coens officiating.
Mrs. Spondike was born on February 11, 1927 in Sharon, PA and passed away on January 25, 2014 in Monroe, LA. She was an excellent golfer, loved the outdoors, and was a fantastic cook. Mrs. Spondike loved dancing and had a wonderful voice. She never met a stranger and was loved by all. Mrs. Spondike is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Joseph and Elizabeth Zavada Potock and by her sister, Mary Matkovich.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Nicholas Spondike, Jr.; her children, Nicholas Spondike, III and wife, Beverly and Allyson Leslie Spondike Longo and husband, Tom; grandsons, Nicholas Spondike, IV and Nathan Dale Spondike and wife, Susan; great granddaughter, Reagen Ellyce Spondike; brother, Walter J. Potock and wife, Judy; her granddogs, Bandit, Ripple, Roni, and Boomer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until Service Time on Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe, LA.
