Audrey Swayne Andrieu

Audrey Swayne Andrieu, 91, of West Monroe, LA, passed away August 27, 2018, after a brief illness. She was born April 8, 1927, in New Orleans, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Laura Swayne; her sister, Patricia Swayne Fos; and her husband, Thomas Jefferson Andrieu.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sue Andrieu, Karen Haik (Raymond), and Judy Junot (Gerard); her six grandchildren; and her nine great-grandchildren.

Audrey loved sewing, quilting, and reading, but her passion was playing bridge. She played for many years, earning her Lifemaster from the American Contract Bridge League. She and her grandchildren and great-grands brought each other much joy. Beloved by friends and family, she is sorely missed.

Graveside service will be Friday, August 31, 2018, at Cypress Grove Cemetery in New Orleans, LA, with Rev. Malcolm Richard officiating.
