Barbara Thornhill Boyles

Funeral services for Barbara Thornhill Boyles, 75, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 22, 2011, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Larry Ferris and Rev. Tom Eaton officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyles joined her heavenly Father on July 20, 2011. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and a dedicated servant of the Lord. A wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife of 55 years.
Mrs. Boyles was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Thornhill; and mother, Pauline Thornhill Hoskins.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard “Wayne” Boyles; daughters, Sharon Lantz and Paula Bethard and husband Buddy; grandchildren, Melissa Huffstetler, Chelsea Knight, Jacob Lantz, Lance Bethard, Katie Bethard, Abbey Bethard, and Jesse Bethard; and great granddaughter, Kylee Knight; and sister, Carol Hoskins.
Pallbearers will be R. L. Smith, Justin Knight, Jim Boyles, Joey Wilhite, Billy Wilhite, and Bill Burtt. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Smith, Roger Crawley, and Larell McLeland.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Memorial may be made to the Church of the Nazarene, Monroe, LA.
