Funeral Services for Berdie Diane Hamilton, 59, of Downsville, LA will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Bill Hearne officiating. Interment will follow at Carlton Cemetery in Calhoun.
Diane was born on February 1, 1953 in Monroe, LA and passed away on April 22, 2012 in Shreveport, LA. She was a nurse at Lincoln General Hospital for over 20 years. Diane was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, David Mitchell Hodges, Sr. and Rae Louise Hobbs Hodges; brothers, Jeffery Hodges, Durwood Hodges, David Mitchell Hodges, Jr., and Ronnie Hodges; and daughter, Shannon Danielle Hamilton.
Diane is survived by her sons, Michael Hamilton, Jr. and wife, Tracie and their children, Katie, Emily, Taylor and Hayden, Pat Hamilton, Jacob Hamilton and ex-wife Wendy Stansel and their children, Chloe, Lily, Jacee and Sylas; daughters, Jessica Hamilton and fiancée Jerry, and Jamie Hamilton; father of her children, Michael Hamilton, Sr.; brothers, Roger Hodges, Kenny Hodges, Scotty Hodges and Paul Hodges; and sisters, Cindy Woodard and Brenda Posey.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
