Graveside services for Bessie Catherine Barham, 96 of Oak Ridge will be 10:00AM Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Thomas and James Barham officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.
Bessie was born on December 21, 1921 in Oak Ridge and died at her home in Oak Ridge.
She loved to travel all over the world, teach school, driving school bus, burn wood piles, and make people laugh. She served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Emma Shepard Barham, Sr.; brothers, William Shephard Barham, Robert E. Barham, Jr., and Theodore Shepard.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
