Funeral services for Bettye Sue Lovelady Trichell Johnson, 76, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2011, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Ricky Baker officiating. Interment will follow at New Light Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died Friday, September 16, 2011. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and retired from Sam’s Club.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Jack P. and Lila Lovelady; granddaughter, Melissa Lankford; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Wheat; sons-in-law, Jack Lankford and John Wesley Mize.
Survivors include her husband, Royce Johnson; sons, Russell Wheat of Upland, CA, Billy Jack Trichell and wife Debbie, Monte Freeman Trichell, and Brian Keith Trichell and wife Ellen, all of Monroe; daughters, Faith Dennise Lankford and Myra Nadine Mize, both of Monroe; sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Toby Trichell, Brad Singleton, Jake Mize, Jon Mize, Kyle Simpson, and Paul Dupree. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Ingles, Michael Trichell, and Victor Munoz.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
