Graveside services for Billy Joe Watson, 68 will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in the Unity Cemetery with Rev. Charles Best officiating. Interment will be in the Unity Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.
Billy was born on June 13, 1948 in Rayville and passed from this life on October 20, 2016 in California. His parents were William Watson and Sadie Hatton Watson.
Billy worked in the Sierra Conservation Center in Jamestown, CA, served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, loved reading his bible, attending church, loved to shoot his guns, loved watching movies, loved the outdoors, and ministering to people.
Survivors include his friends-Perry Miller and wife Debbie of Grizzly Flat, CA, Jim Bullard of CA, and Kasey Connant of CA; and sister-in-law-Rose Cook of St. Louis, MO.
