Funeral Services for Billy Ray Osbon, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held 2:00 PM Monday, August 22, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Mark Fenn officiating. Interment will follow at Brooklyn Cemetery in Chatham, LA.
Billy was born on March 3, 1932 in Chatham, LA and passed away on August 19, 2011 in Monroe, LA. He was a member of the Dalley Masonic Lodge #265. Billy retired from Graphic Packaging after 52 years. He is a past president of the PWP and was a past master of the Dalley Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Monroe Chapter Council Commandery and 32nd Degree Scottish Right Mason, and was a lifetime member of VFW 1809.
He is survived by three sons, Bruce Osbon and wife Brenda, Donald Wayne Osbon and wife Susan, David Osbon and wife Amee; four brothers, Clifford Osbon, Sr. and wife Kathyrn, Harold “Tonky” Osbon and wife Doris, Bobbie Osborne and wife Helen, Ralph Osbon and wife Phenita; sister, Delores Baugh and husband Jimmie; special friend, Bobbie Stewart; seven grandkids; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Richard Arrant, Ronnie Osbon, Clifford Osbon, Allen Osbon, Rusty Babb, and Clayton Norred. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the VFW 1809.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
