Bonnie Doll Breard

March 16, 1920 — March 25, 2011

A celebration of the life of Doll Breard will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Charles Martindale and Rev. Mark Finn officiating.  Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Doll went home to be with her Lord on  Friday, March 25.  She was a lifelong resident of Monroe; however, she had spent the last 2 years in Rock Hill, SC, near her daughter and son-in-law.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Monroe where she was a pre-school worker for many years.  She loved her church and working with the children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Leslie and Mary Irvie Parker Humble; husband, John M. Breard III; brothers, Parker, Floyd, and Boyce Humble; and daughter-in-law, Lynn Breard.

Doll is survived by her son, John M. Breard IV; daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Doug Kirklin; grandchildren, Marlin, Meredith, and Mack Breard and Aaron Kirklin; great-grandchildren, Jhean, Beau, River, Reed and Finley; sister and brother-in-law, Irvie Lee and George Temple; sisters-in-law, Elaine and Elizabeth Humble; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Marlin, Mack, Jhean, and Beau Breard, Aaron Kirklin, and Leslie Humble.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home, Monroe, La.
