Funeral Services for Mrs. Brenda Gayle Reed Evans, 53, of Chatham, LA will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 25, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Kenneth Neal officiating. Interment to follow at Zoar Cemetery, Chatham.
Mrs. Evans was born January 9, 1958 in Hodge, LA and passed away on February 21, 2011 in West Monroe, LA. She loved all kids but most of all, her pride and joy was her granddaughter, Abigail. She enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mrs. Evans was a giving person around the holidays always making sure others that were in need had something special.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Evans, sons, Benjamin Joseph Evans, Justin Evans; granddaughter, Abigail Evans; grandsons, Gavin and Gaberial Evans; step sons, David Michael Evans, Jason Scott Evans; parents, Mr. and Mrs. B H Reed; sisters, Sherry Jackson and husband Danny, Pam Reed; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends, Faye Fancher and husband Rick, and Crystal Rhymes.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Rhymes, Scott Evans, Brad Edgeworth, Richie Fancher, Jason George, Caleb Soigner, and Kyle Johnson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
