A Celebration of Life for Miss Candy Michelle Howard, 49, of Sterlington, LA, will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Mineral Springs Baptist Church, Dubach, LA with Rev. Greg Tipton officiating.
Miss Howard was born August 25, 1971 and passed away on April 3, 2021. She was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. Candy worked for LA ARK
Rehab Center for three years, mentoring recovering addicts. She was a member of Celebrate Recovery. Candy graduated from LA Tech. Her hobbies included talking, mentoring, spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews, but more importantly giving her testimony.
She is preceded in death by grandparents, L.D. and Edwina Colvin and Robert and Floy “Jack” Howard; infant brother, Robert Cole Howard; and nephew, Gage Campbell.
Survivors include her parents, Rodney M. Howard (Patricia) and Patsy C. Colvin; two sisters, Kelly Fortenberry (Jon), Katey Walker (Dustin); brother, Ryan Howard; two nieces, Kelsey Fortenberry Smalling (Codey) and Journey Bryan; four nephews, Justin Fortenberry, Reb Fortenberry, Rowdy Fortenberry, and Maddox Olson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousin and many special friends.
