Funeral Services for Mrs. Carol Jean Myers, 73, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Bruce Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Mrs. Myers was born on December 31, 1938 in Elgin, IL and died on November 28, 2012 at her residence in West Monroe, LA. She enjoyed all types of crafts, quilting, painting, and doll making. Mrs. Myers is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse R. Myers.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry Myers and Jan Johnson, and Kevin Myers and wife, Denise; grandsons, Dusty Myers and wife, Heather and Devin Myers; great grandsons, Jace and Rayson Myers; brother, Phil Mink and wife, Pam; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Shufflin Robicheaux.
Pallbearers will be James Coughran, Larry Coughran, Marvin Stuckey, Marvin Underwood, Fred Benson, and Warren Benson.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus.
