Charles Edward Evans

Funeral services for Charles Edward Evans, 67, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 30, 2013, at New Light Baptist Church, Monroe, with Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Evans died Monday, November 25, 2013, at the Overton Brooks Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. He was a retired broadcast engineer with KNOE and a U. S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Evans; step son, Nathan Fontenot; brother, Mark Evans; two sisters, Margie White and husband Tommy, and Martha Scarborough and husband Ralph; four grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 AM until service time at New Light Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
