Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Walter “Chuck” Pittard, 61, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Dr. Dwight Munn officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.
Mr. Pittard was born on October 6, 1951 and died on August 25, 2013. He was a member of First Baptist Church West Monroe, LA. Chuck was a loyal employee of Rogers Manufacturing. He was a proud fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was an avid musician, playing the guitar and drums, and he loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Mr. Pittard was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, brother and son. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Joseph and Kathrine Rogers Pittard.
Survivors include his son, Shawn Pittard and fiancé, Amanda Frost; daughter, Jolie Pittard; sisters, Mary Moore and husband, James, Virginia Pittard, and Kathy Hudson and husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, Catherine O’Bryant, Darion Jones, Gage Jones, Garrett Frost and Shelby Frost; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Pittard, Jamie Moore, Joe Waits, Mike Stockel, Rob Tolbert, and Chad Sanders.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for children or to St. Jude children’s Research Hospital for children.
