Chere Pearl Battaglia

Funeral services for Chere Pearl Battaglia, 87, of Chatham, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R.C. Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Swartz, LA.

Mrs. Battaglia passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Chatham.  She was a blessing to her God-children, Marion and Marlon, and everyone she touched throughout her years.  She loved being an artist and was extremely talented.

Survivors include God-children, Marion and Marlon Peel; brother, Elmer Battaglia of Farmerville; step-daughters, Paulette Mixon and Becky Elder.

Pallbearers will be Elmer Battaglia, Nolen Leach, Nathan Plunkett, Joel Sneed, Josh Henderson, and Daniel Hightower.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road.
