Funeral services for Ms. Cheryl Ellen Fontana, 72, of Monroe, LA, will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA with Deacon Scott Brandle officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M, Thursday, at the funeral home.
Ms. Fontana passed away December 28, 2020 at her residence in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Ms. Fontana was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was always smiling and kind to everyone she met. Ms. Fontana’s favorite saying was Live, Love, and be Grateful.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Walker; father, JT Walker; and Sister, Janice Lindsey
Survivors include her daughter, Candace Anne Wuerz, and husband (Rick); Son, Chad Ryan Fontana; Granddaughter, Mia McKenzie Wuerz; Brothers, Steve and Barry Walker; and Sister, Kathy Howell.
