Clophire 'Pete' Viola

Funeral services for Clophire “Pete” Viola, 68, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 23, 2012, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Shirley Davidson officiating. Interment will follow at Rhymes Cemetery, Richland Parish, LA.

Mr. Viola passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a painter and worked offshore. Mr. Viola was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Viola was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Emma Olivo Viola; brothers, Alfred, Albert, JR, and James; and sisters, Leila, Vivian, and Mary Ruth.

Survivors include his sister, Lennie Hubbard; children, Steve Viola (Michelle), Gena Jackson (Richard), Clint Viola, and Danielle Viola; ten grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Alvin Bradshaw, Jerry Wayne Copeland, Jody Woods, Jeremy Brown, Louis Fields,Don Risher, Nicholas Viola, Gage Viola, and Zak Viola..

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
