David Anthony Pierson

Memorial Services Celebrating the Life of David Anthony Pierson, 41, of Rayville, LA, will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Start Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating.

David was born July 7, 1980 and passed away on July 27, 2021. He attended Start Baptist Church. David was a crane operator by trade and member of Baton Rouge Union IBEW 995. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, being outdoors, watching movies, disc golf, fixing things, tinkering, and considered himself to be an inventor. David was athletic and enjoyed participating in sports. He met his high school sweetheart, Alicia, back in 1996 and married her in 2007.

David is preceded in death by his stepfather, Steven Wilson; grandfather, Robert “Bob” Pierson; uncle, Kenneth Pierson; and sister-in-law, Michelle Montgomery.

Survivors include his wife and best friend for 25+ years, Alicia Montgomery Pierson; two children, Caitlyn Pierson Arnold and her husband Skyler and Ashton Cade Pierson; one granddaughter, Adelynn Arnold; mother, Candice Pierson Baldwin; father, Rodney Baldwin; one brother, Alex Baldwin and fiancée, Alyssa McElwaney; three sisters, Crystal Wilson, Emily Baldwin, and Lindy Pearce; mother and father-in-law, Sandra Smith Montgomery and Roy Montgomery; two brothers-in-law, Glenn Montgomery; Joshua Montgomery and his wife Carley; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Start Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Cross Keys Bank, in care of Cade Pierson to assist with Cade’s Future Education.
