Funeral Services for Donald Wayne Whittington, 80, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 12:30PM Wednesday, August 19, 2015 with Chris LaBure officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe.Donald was born on December 11, 1934 in Gloster, MS and passed away on August 13, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt and to be in his garden.Donald is survived by his children, Jan LaBure and husband Chris, Greg Whittington and wife Phyllis; grandchildren, Christopher LaBure and wife Kelly, Chase LaBure and fianc Jeanne, and Hunter Whittington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.Pallbearers will be Christopher LaBure, Chase LaBure, Hunter Whittington, Mark Riser, Matthew Riser, and Michael Riser.Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until service time Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.orgArrangements under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
