Doris Fuller Jones

Funeral services for Doris Fuller Jones, 68, of Start, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2012, at Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry O’Dell, Rev. Weldon Bares, Rev. Joe Solomon, and Rev. Betty Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Start Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe.  She was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church and retired from the RAD Tech Department at ULM.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ardella Fuller; her husband, James E. “Jim” Jones; her son, Mark David Jones; and her sister, Margie Crawford.

Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany Leigh Jones of Start, LA; sister, Mary Joyce Whitten and husband Billy of Start, LA; brothers, Jimmy Fuller and wife Dorothy of Start, LA and Tommy Fuller and wife Vicki of Monroe, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Hugh Riley, J.C. Taylor, Gene Waalk, Rusty Cottingham, R.F. Wilson, and Mike Hammock.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church.
