Mrs. Brasher was born August 15, 1927 and passed away December 31, 2014. She was a graduate of Ouachita Parish School System and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX in 1956. Mrs. Brasher taught school in Garland, TX, Suburban Kansas City, MO and Suburban Chicago for 12 years. She was also active in Hospital Guild in Elmhurst, IL. Dorothy was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Totsy Howard; and brother, Raymond Howard.Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Jimmie C.
