Eleanor Rose Etheridge Jordan

Funeral services for Eleanor Rose Etheridge Jordan, 80, of West Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Rowland Road Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Jordan passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, at The Terrace in West Monroe. She was a member of Rowland Road Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Adrian Jordan; son, Michael Jordan; granddaughter, Dana Redfern; brothers, William “Buddy” Etheridge, Wilson Etheridge, and Robert Etheridge; and sister, Margaret Piper.

Survivors include her children, Ramona Standifer of Duncan, OK, Kay Fontenot of Monroe, and Ricky Jordan of Monroe; sisters, Mary Moss and Golden Scott; brother, Dr. Albert Etheridge; grandchildren, Trista Perkins, Philip Standifer, Jennifer Cupid, Blake Jordan, Eric Jordan, and Jacob Jordan; five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Blake Jordan, Eric Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Scott Cupid, Philip Standifer, and Jordan Perkins.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
