Elizabeth Christine Smith

Services celebrating the life of Mrs. Elizabeth Christine Smith, 76, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday April 26, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Peyton Bass and Rev. Marcelle Ronquille officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA. 
Mrs. Smith passed away on April 22, 2011 at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Brownville Baptist Church and worked many years as a seamstress and in the dry cleaning business, formerly working at D&D Cleaners. She loved her children and her church, one of the sweetest people you would ever want to meet. She was a strong Christian woman who was ready to meet Jesus. She was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. W. Smith, daughter, Sherry Ferris, grandson, Bryson Ethan Ellis, brothers, Shorty Kennedy, J. D. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and Bill Kennedy. 
Survivors: Children, Melba Pruett and husband, Chuck, Billy Mike McDonald and wife, Darlene, Debbie Kottenbrook and husband, Paul and Petey McDonald and wife, Pam; Brother, Jim Kennedy; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers will be David Pruett, Danny Pruett, Josh McDonald, Christopher Skains, Bennie Ferris, and David Douglas.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
