Funeral Services for Ethel Lee Foster, 97, of West Monroe, LA will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 21, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Calton Yeager officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery.
Ethel was born September 30, 1913 in Orange, TX and passed away on July 19, 2011 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Ridge Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Zillia Maddy; husband, D.B. Foster, Sr.; son, D.B. “Buck” Foster, Jr.; and grandson, Trey Foster.
She is survived by her son, Thomas “Buddy” Foster and wife Helen; daughter-in-law, Mavis Pete Foster; grandchildren, Jerry, Dale, Libby, Tommy, and Kelly Foster; and great-grandchildren, Kristin Butler, Kolby and Kellyn Foster, Shane and Jordan Pouncey; and great-great grandchild, Rae’Lyn Pouncey .
Pallbearers will be Tommy Foster, Kelly Foster, Jimmy Clifton, Dale Foster, Peter Chasas, and Scotty Adams.
Visitation will be held 9:00 AM until service time Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials can be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
