Funeral Services for Faris Lee Creed Alford, 85, of Huntsville, AL, will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, July 28, 2012 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Private family graveside will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mrs. Alford passed away Friday, July 20, 2012. She had been a resident of Huntsville for 30 years and was retired from South Central Bell. She was a member of University Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. Mrs. Alford is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Alford; and brother, Marvin Creed.

She is survived by one daughter, Renee Brooks of Huntsville, AL; three sons, James E. Alford of Wichita, KS, Michael Alford of Mandeville, LA, and Dennis C. Alford of Houston, TX; two brothers, Henry E. Creed, Jr and Walter Creed both of West Monroe, LA; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until service time Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
