Florence will always be remembered by those who loved her dearly as “Bo”. Bo was a Clerical Administrative Assistant Dean of Testing and Guidance at ULM, where she later retired. After retirement, she began to take painting lesson. She painted many personal acrylic paintings for family members that are hung in their homes today. She will be remembered for her love of dancing with her husband, Victor Pete Johnson. Along with her love for dancing she had a love for shoes too. She had countless shoes to go with her beautiful dresses. Bo and Pete lived on Darbonne Lake for many years. Many will remember Bo ballroom dancing in her sunroom with anyone that wanted to learn. She always enjoyed dancing with her grandsons and teaching them how to dance with a lady. Bo enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family at the lake house. She would welcome anyone with big hugs and a smile. You knew you were loved when you walked into her home. She was a lady in every sense of the word. For 95 years she gave something of herself to everyone she encountered-she made everyone better. Bo left this world to take her rightful place in heaven. She was ready to see the face of Jesus and walk on the streets of gold. She can never be replaced. She will be missed dearly.
