Funeral services for Frances Marie Hoy Jones, 67 of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 28,2011 at Watson Chapel Church in West Monroe with Dr. Bob Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Family Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Frances Marie Hoy Jones was born on April 24, 1944 and she went home to be with Lord and Savior on April 25, 2011. Marie is a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She is preceded in death by her father Walter Christian Hoy and mother Rosa Lee Hoy, brothers, Charlie, Sammy, Jimmy and Walter Hoy and sisters, Margie Blood and Mildred Hoy.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Jerry Michael Jones, Sr., brother, Eddie Hoy and wife Linda, sister-in-law, Charlene Hoy, children, Dawn Eldridge, Mike Jones, Jr. and wife Patti, Teresa Booth and husband William and Keith Jones; grandchildren, John Michael Eldridge, Aaron Eldridge, Jesse Eldridge, Amanda Eldridge, Savannah Jones, Taylor Jones, Michaela Jones, Michael Jones, Jared Jones, and Alexis Booth; great grandson, Lucian Eldridge; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Peacock, Wendell Jones, Brent Downs, Scott Thomas, Todd Jones and Lynn Antley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Eldridge and John Michael Eldridge.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers for Marie and family, the food that was brought to the home and special thank you to Premier Hospice, Emily Snyder, JoAnn Lowery, Brenda McDaniel, Sharon Drumwright, Jessica Courson, Chaplin Jeff Luellen, and Dr. Elliot and his staff.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Watson Chapel Church in West Monroe.
