Frederick Charles Ruth

Mr. Frederick Charles Ruth, 63, of Sterlington, LA was born in Allentown, PA on June 29, 1948 and died on October 23, 2011 in Monroe, LA. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing in his boat, “Miss Daisy”, and loved cheering on his favorite sports teams, Penn State, Purdue and the Philadelphia Eagles. Mr. Ruth served in the United States Marine Corps from October 1967 until October 1971 and was a general manager for Georgia Pacific. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Anna Ruth and brothers, Ronnie Ruth and Tommy Haines

Survivors include his wife, Bernice Pingley Ruth; children, Holly Ruth Veasey and husband, Randall , Robert Ruth and wife, Jane, Will Warren and wife, Peggy, Melissa Warren and Robert Warren; grandchildren, Ryan Veasey, Mark Veasey, Colin Warren, Kyle Warren, Chloe Warren, Garrett Ruth, Brayden Bosley and Katelyn Warren; sister, Jane Ruth Smith; brothers, Ken Ruth and wife, Gail and William Ruth and wife, Mikey.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
