The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Furn Bailey Rogers, 88, of Monroe, LA will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 28, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Mary Jane Yerger officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Rogers was born January 18, 1923 in Pineville, LA and passed away on May 25, 2011 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of the First Church of Christ-Scientist, the Monroe Garden Club, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Mrs. Rogers is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Gertrude Bowman; husbands, Woodrow Bailey, and Otis Rogers; sons, Ted Bailey, Tommy Bailey, and Danny Rogers; granddaughter, Elizabeth May; sister, June Bowman Yelverton; and brother, Tommy Bowman.
She is survived by her children, Gay May, Sandy Terrell and her husband Julian; Tim Rogers, Beverly Andrus and her husband Michael, and Leslie Rogers; and too many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren to count.
Pallbearers will be Dale May, Dave Terrell, Mickel Terrell, Eric Dykes, Michael Andrus, and Jon Braswell.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
