Services for Mr. George M. Pylant, 87, of Crowvile, LA , will be 10 AM Monday, March 31, 2008 at Mulhearn Chapel with Dr. Keith Dowden officiating, internment to follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery. Under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro.
Mr. Pylant was a member of First Baptist Church Crowville, Woodmen of the World and retired famer and carpenter, he was most proud of his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents William Asberry Pylant and Zelma Ann Cox Pylant along with five brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Helen Plyant, two daughters Linda Martin and her husband Huey and Rita Pilgreen and her husband Jim, three sons George A. Pylant and his wife Liz, Michael Pylant and his wife Gayle and Jeff Pylant, two brothers Floyd Pylant and Cecil Pylant. 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearer will be Brandon Pylant, Chad Pylant, Jason Pylant, Donnie Harper, Eddie Ward, Jeffery Lena, Joey Lena and Jason Nix.
Visitation will be from 4-6 PM Sunday, March 30, 2008 and 9 AM until service time Monday, March 31, 2008 at the funeral home
