George Oliver Madison

Graveside services for George Oliver Madison, 70, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Bonne Idee Cemetery near Mer Rouge. Mr. Madison died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at his residence. He was retired from Allstate Insurance where he worked on the Catastrophe Team. Mr. Madison was preceded in death by his parents, Oma and Byrum Madison; and brother, Gary Madison.Survivors include his wife of 34 years, together for 40 years, Valerie L. Caswell Madison; children, Lee Madison and wife Wendy, Michael Chad Madison; and Gina Dison and husband Josh; grandchildren Brandon Madison, Zoey Madison, and Blake Dison; brothers, Allen and wife Virginia Madison, and James Madison; sisters, Ina Blackwell and husband Willard, and Jimmie Tatum and husband Ben; and sister-in-law, Kathy Madison.Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
