Funeral services for Gladys Manning Smith, 73, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 2, 2014 at Loch Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Myrick and Rev. William Sikes officiating. Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Cemetery.Mrs. Smith passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital North Monroe. Mrs. Smith was a life time member of Loch Arbor Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; P.D. and Ola Mae Manning, two sisters; Billie Elee and Margie Stuart, and one brother; Doyle Manning.Survivors include her husband of 54 years John T. Smith Jr., one daughter Debbie Parker and husband Ronald, one son; Richard Smith and wife Debbie, four grandchildren; Kristi Whetstone, Dustin Parker, Kevi Skains, and Richie Smith, 8 great grandchildren, and two brothers Terry Manning and wife Faye, Elton Manning and wife Shirley.
