Funeral Services for Mrs. Gladys Sneed Brown, 100, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Jimmy Pyles, Rev. Lynn Malone, and Rev. Bill Foster officiating. Interment will be at Bear Creek Cemetery, Quitman, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mrs. Brown was born on November 23, 1911 in Dodson, LA and passed away December 25, 2011 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of the Ouitman United Methodist Church and an active member of the United Methodist Women. She is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Tillman A. Brown; and son, Travis D. Brown, Sr.
Mrs. Brown is survived by 3 sons and their spouses, Gerald & Mary Brown; Donnie & Sue Brown; and Wade & Cathey Brown; 8 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren; and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Brown, Stephen Brown, Jerry Miller, Fred Shields, Gene Turner, and Joey Gardunio .Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Brown, Dan Varnado, and Richard Ballard.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana United Methodist Children’s Home, Ruston.
