Graveside services for Helen Bedgood, 72, of Cotton Valley, LA will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Hasley Memorial Pavilion in West Monroe with Bro. Don Shirley officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mrs. Bedgood was born on July 18, 1941 and passed away October 27, 2013. She lived in Cuthbert, GA and moved to West Monroe, LA in 1969 then later moved to Cotton Valley, LA in 1996. Mrs. Bedgood was a loyal housewife for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph K. Bedgood; son, James Anthony Lachman; daughter, Ruda K. Bedgood; brother, Owen Pritchard; sister, Marian McGuire; and friend, Bobby G. Anders.
She is survived by her son, Michael Musgrove III, and wife Osha; daughter, Shana McCarty and husband Jimmy; sisters, Jorene Ward, Eleanor Canington, and Gladys Dampier; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and Memaw to many.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Brent McCarty, Jacob McCarty, Michael B. Musgrove IV, Jesse Stuard, Chad Jackson, and David Doty.
