Helen Louise Stanley

Funeral services for Helen Louise Stanley, 82, of Bastrop, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 28, 2013, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville, LA, with Bro. Joey Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at McKnight Cemetery.

Mrs. Stanley died Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at her residence. Preceded in death by her parents, James Nathan and Ella Thomas; granddaughter, Kristen Morgan; and grandson, Perry Stanfield.

Survivors include her sons, James Underwood and wife Billie, Jerry Atkins and wife Melissa, Robert Stanley and wife Gloria, and Tony Stanley and wife Mary; daughter, Sarah Tharp and husband Billy; eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren; brother, Earl Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Justin Morgan, Brook Morgan, Michael Underwood, Lonnie Polk, Nathan Stanley, and Jason Stanley. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Stanley and Eric Silk

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
