Iris Jean Bordelon

Funeral services for Iris Jean Bordelon, 61, of Sterlington, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2013, at Sterlington Holiness Tabernacle with Pastor Tracy D. Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Bordelon passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She became a member of Sterlington Holiness Tabernacle 16 years ago when she gave her life to the Lord. Mrs. Bordelon was a homemaker and secretary with Bordelon Septic Tank. She was also a very caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Mrs. Bordelon was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Day.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Delton L. Bordelon, Jr.; children, Angela Skipper and husband Junior of Calhoun, LA, Penny Toney of Sterlington, LA, Jennifer Slaughter and husband John of Jonesboro, LA, and Victoria Hough and husband Aaron of Export, PA; 11 grandchildren, brother, Kenneth Ray Trillet of Yazoo City, MS; mother-in-law, Daisy Bordelon; sister-in-law, Betty Lee; brother-in-law, Bobby Bordelon and wife Terry; and numerous other family members.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Sterlington Holiness Tabernacle.
