Mr. James Foster Wallace, 72, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Jim was a retired engineer in the cotton industry and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Jean McDonald Wallace; son, Jay F. Wallace and wife Linda; daughter, Amy Marie Wallace Martin and husband Butch; grandchildren, Laura Terry, Kerri Malone, and Ashley Wallace; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 4:00 PM until 7:00PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
A private family interment will be held at a later date at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Columbarium.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1901 Lexington Avenue, Monroe, LA 71201.
