Graveside services for James Lavelle “Jimmy” Massey, 50, of Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Monroe, LA with Rev. John Hall officiating. Interment will be in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA.
Jimmy was born on January 13, 1962 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away on March 26, 2012. He was a friend to everyone that he met, and will be missed by all that knew him. Jimmy loved to fish and hang out with his friends. He was a joy to his mom and family. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Jessie James Massey.
Survivors include his parents, Jessie Massey and Phillip Beach; sisters, Vivian Massey and Larry Thornhill and Sherry McGough and Jerry Hoffpauir; brother, Keith Massey and Michelle all of Monroe, LA; three nieces, Misty Massey of Bossier City, LA, Crystal Clowers of Monroe, LA and Heather McGough and husband, Jeremy of Eros, LA; and one great nephew, Garrett Mason.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Road Monroe, LA.
