James Lewis Saterfiel

Funeral services for James Lewis Saterfiel, 83, of Fairbanks, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 3, 2011, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Dr. Bill Dye and Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mr. Saterfiel passed away Monday, February 28, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center. He worked for thirty-seven years as an Instrument Supervisor at IMC. He was also a U. S. Air Force veteran and an avid collector of antiques.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Manning Saterfiel of Fairbanks, LA; sons, Dr. James L. Saterfiel, Jr. and wife Shirley of Monroe, Jim Reeves and Randy Reeves and wife Cathy, all of Hattiesburg, MS; one sister, Sara Kilpatrick and husband James; and two grandchildren, Bradley James Saterfiel and Katherine Ann Saterfiel.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Kerry Anders, Shawn Allen, Del Roy Cox, Robert Shumate, Larry Brakefield, and Richard Daniels. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Jim Hutchinson Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the North Monroe Baptist Church Building Fund.
