Funeral services for Mr. James N. Peavy, 34, of Sterlington, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 20, 2009, at Mablewood Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA. Interment will follow in Mablewood Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Peavy passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Peavy.
Survivors include his parents, Delores and Narvel Lightsey; two brothers, Wayne Peavy of Monroe and Scotty Peavy of Sterlington; three sisters, Sharon Mullins of Crowville, Angela Hadley of Marion, and Shelley Pierce of Sterlington; one son, Gabriel Peavy of West Monroe; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be Friday from Noon until service time at the church.
