Memorial services for James “Windy” Winderweedle, 63, of Rocky Branch, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M Wednesday November 30, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Scott Jennings and Rev. Paul Carter officiating.
Mr. Winderweedle was born on November 20, 1948 and passed away on November 28, 2011. He was retired from the United States Army after 27 years of services and worked for the United States Postal Service for 13 years. Windy was an avid hunter but duck hunting was his all-time favorite. Windy was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Virginia Winderweedle and brother, Darrell Winderweedle.
Survivors include his wife, Sissy Winderweedle; son, Corey Winderweedle; daughter, Jamie Winderweedle Wall and husband Nathan; granddaughter, Samantha Wall; sister, Brenda Higginbotham; and brother, Terry Winderweedle.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday November 29, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
