Jane C. Humphries

Funeral services for Mrs. Jane C. Humphries, 80, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M Wednesday November 17, 2021. at Lakeshore Baptist Church with Rev. William L. Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

Mrs. Humphries was born June 11, 1941, in Delhi, LA, and passed away from a brief illness on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA,

Mrs. Humphries worked in retail sales and was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church.

Mrs. Humphries was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Kendell Humphries; father, James Key Chambless; mother, Gladys Kirk Chambless; and stepmother, Eunell B. Chambless.

Survivors include her daughter, Lori Humphries of Baton Rouge, LA; son, Steven Humphries of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Petey Chambless (Renae) of Lonoke, AR; cousin, Shielda Chambless Janes; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Davis (John), and Mary Jo Robison (BJ).

Pallbearers will be Glen Bennett, Philip Dampier, Randy Hammett, Charles Pitcher, Richard Rawles and Doug Self.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to Savannah Grand Assisted Living management and staff, and also to the staff of St. Francis Medical Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeshore Baptist Church.
