We can never thank everyone for all the love, prayers and help given to Mom and our family over the past 3 years. LSUS 3rd floor Neuro ICU, you were amazing! West Monroe Guest House Therapy, you are the best! Haven Home Health therapists and nurses, always such a great job! All her doctors and nurses that always treated her kind and listened patiently. Her sister, Shirley “Minnie” Martin that truly saved us and you are our diamond! Mike Manley, her wonderful son-in-law that she trusted to help her with the tough decisions and making her waffles and bacon. Gail Cupit, a true definition of a friend and a bonus daughter. Connie Parker, lifelong family and amazing chef. Debbie and Hank Thurston for always showing up to help in anyway. Polly and James Keen, always watching over her and making her laugh. Tish Manley, wife-in-law and manicurist extraordinaire. Jo Ann Tatum, a forever friend. Amazing neighbors, Louise and Dan Montfort, Penny and David Cook, Mrs. Wanda Kerrigan, and Garland and Paula Hendricks.

Her Bethel Baptist Church family, she loved each of you, she always shined brighter when she walked through those doors. The love she felt, and the hugs given made her smile so bright.

One afternoon at the Guest House, she said you know I really have a lot of daughters; and she named them by herself! Gail, Connie Sue, Brenda, Wanda, Debbie, Tricia, Terri, Penny and DeeDee and she truly meant this. She loved big and was loved big!

Beautiful wife, amazing mother, greatest Mimi, loving sister and trusted friend! We were all blessed to have her in our lives and will forever have her in our hearts! She loved us all, but we knew her heart was in Heaven and now she is with Daddy and I know they are so very happy again.

“Honor her for all her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” Proverbs 31:31
