Funeral Services for Mrs. Janie Wilson Foote, 66, of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 21, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Brother Mickey Hudnall officiating. Interment to follow at Epps Cemetery.
Mrs. Foote was born on July 23, 1944 in Slidell, LA and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 18, 2011. She was a member of Clark Springs Baptist Church. Janie was a lady that loved life and all God’s children. She loved spending time with her family, painting, quilting, crafts, hunting and fishing. Janie welcomed all into her life and we are richer for it. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Wilson.
Survivors include: her husband of 33 years, Kenneth Larry Foote; her mother, Ethel Wilson; two daughters and spouses, Tonja Aaron and Tommy Smith, Tamah and Jay Hughes; two brothers, Marion and Nita Wilson, Bobby and Cleta Wilson; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer and Cody Aaron and Lucas and Marlea Hughes; and 2 great grandchildren, Zachary and Madison Aaron.
Pallbearers will be Jay Hughes, Paul Wilson, John Wayne Wilson and Mike Parks.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to Clark Springs Baptist Church.
