Jerry Ray McMillian

Funeral services for Jerry Ray McMillian, 69, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 3, 2012, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mr. McMillian passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.

Mr. McMillian was preceded in death by his daughter, Jerri Inez McMillian.

Survivors include his children, Scarlet “Neise” Ellerbe, Brad McMillian, and Shawn Eves and husband Jerome; four grandchildren, Chadwin Tripp, Ruby Jane McMillian, Devin McMillian, and Lauren McCall; three great grandchildren, Halie Jane McMillian, Addison Leyona Frye, and Realyn Denise McMillian; sisters, Barbara Amason, and Saundra Devereux; brother, James “Buddy” McMillian; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
