Funeral Services for Jesse R. Myers, 77, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 27, 2012 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Bruce Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Jesse R. Myers was born September 11, 1935 and died September 25, 2012. Mr. Myers loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, working, and spending time with family.
Survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol Myers; sons, Jerry Myers and Jan Johnson, Kevin Myers and wife, Denise; grandchildren, Dusty Myers and wife, Heather and Devin Myers; great-grandchildren, Jace Myers and Rayson Myers, who is on the way; sister, Bonnie Shufflin Robicheaux; brother-in-law, Phil Mink and wife, Pam.
Pallbearers will be Fred Benson, Cecil Ross, Marvin Underwood, Jr., Larry Coughran, James Coughran and Marvin Stuckey.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials can be made to Hospice Compassus.
The Myers family would like to give a special thanks to all of Mr. Myers’ sitters, Marvin, Kim, Debbie, and Hannah.
