Services for Jimmy Glynn Ellerbe, 51 will be 2:00PM Sunday, May 27, 2012 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Strong and Rev. Frances Guy officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakley Cemetery near Gilbert under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held at the cemetery. Mr. Ellerbe Passed away May 24, 2012.
He was a member of Dan Gilbert #405 Masonic Lodge-Past Master, a Barak Shriner, T. B. Gilbert Lodge, member of First Baptist Church in Gilbert, and a consultant for Exxon Mobile.
He is preceded in death by his parents-William ”Ed” and Linda Wafer Ellerbe; brother-David Lynn Ellerbe; and daughter-Landon Abbott.
He is survived by his wife-Connie Franks of Wisner; granddaughters-Desiree and Serenity Abbott of Dallas; brothers-Ed and Yvonne Ellerbe of Wisner, Michael “Busch” and Pat Ellerbe of Gilbert, Carey Joe and Jane Ellerbe of Gilbert; sister Joanna and Mackie Strong of Baskin; special cousin-Leo “Billy” and Elaine Thornhill of Winnsboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ward Ellerbe, Kip Jones, Chad Easterling, Brandon Strong, Cristopher Hunt, C. C. Kimball, Joey Thomas, and Eric Jester. Honorary pallbearers will be Manuel Jimenez, Brian Krueger, and Jake Kamps.
