Memorial services for Joan E. White, 78, of West Monroe will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 28, 2014 at Fair Park Baptist Church in West Monroe with Rev. Waymond Warren and Dr. Jerry Edmondson officiating.
Mrs. White was born on October 25, 1935 in Rangeley, Maine and passed away on February 26, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of the Fair Park Baptist Church in West Monroe. Mrs. White raised 4 generations of children. She had a very strong Christian faith, an excellent wife and mother and put others needs before her own. She was an angel on earth. Mrs. White is preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Bayles.
Survivors include her husband, Cliff White; son, Miller White and wife Bonnie and daughter, Lisa Perillo; grandchildren, Trey Bayles, Matthew Christopher Perillo and wife Rebecca, Megan Elizabeth Floyd and husband Michael; great grandchildren, Khloe Kay Perillo, Lexi Christine Perillo, and another one on the way ; step great grandchild, Natalie Floyd; sister Evelyn Oakes; and special family friend, Sissy Jackson.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until service time Friday at the Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
