John Lloyd Goodman, Jr, 69, was born January 24, 1953 in Delhi, LA to John Lloyd Goodman, Sr and Carolyn Marie Goodman. He passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in Delhi.
John is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Tina Hammons; brother, Mark A. Goodman; nephew, Kyle Hammons; and father-in-law, Joe Comeaux.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dewanna Kay Comeaux Goodman; son, Taylor Goodman; daughter, Hannah Kate Goodman Henson and husband, Dustin T. Henson; grandson, Greyson Henson; sisters, Rose Marie Hoyt and husband Charlie, Carla Jo Goodman Coleman and husband Ron Coleman of Alexandria; mother-in-law, Joanne Comeaux; brother-in-law, Jimmy Comeaux and wife Dana; sister-in-law, Deanna Wollerson and husband, Dennis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, February, 24, 2022 at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Ellzey officiating.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Woodlawn Baptist Church general fund or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which was John’s favorite charity.
The family would like to give a special thanks and recognition to John’s best friends Chuck Tiepelman and Eric Johnson.
