Mrs. Markland was born August 21, 1928 and died December 21, 2011. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of West Monroe. Mrs. Markland was employed with Bancroft Bag from 1976 to 1991 when she retired. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and husband, Willie E. Menshew.
She is survived by her four daughters, Nancy Ann Wilson and husband Ricky, Sandra Elee and husband Stan, Teresa Flowers and husband Larry, and Kathie Menshew; ten grandchildren, Cynthia Cannady, David Jackson, Kevin Jackson, Lynn Jackson, Melinda Cobb, Shelly Slaton, Crystal Elee, Alicia Elee, Nikia Mickael, and Traci Ashing; and 17 great-grandchildren.
